Papervore: Coffee Table Meets Paper Shredder

Pigeontail Design’s Papervore is a paper shredder that also masquerades extremely well as an elegant coffee table made from aluminum, mahogany and oak. It contains a removable acrylic box and a crank whose one turn can shred any junk mail and printed leftovers into minute bits of paper that can be recycled later.

Good Product for the Money

Works fairly well. Top will not stay firmly down after you've pumped it but doesn't impede performance. I would recommend this product.

From Instant Joy ... To reality and Disapointment

by JON IN L.A. from West Hollywood, CA on 2010-08-23
I really thought I would love this. I was paying an outrageous amount to buy olive oil in spray can's from the store and thought this would be a really great way to apply only a limited amount, but not pay the cost (per oz) that comes with the spray can. Unfortunately, it doesn't spray well. At first there is too much pressure and it's just a stream, then it becomes a mist like spray (what I wanted) but it only last a second before it becomes too low a pressure and it starts a very jerky uneven spray. After only a short period of use, I suddenly realized I had used almost a whole bottle of olive oil already. I was paying less than the spray can, but I was consuming more than 10 times the amount of oil I thought I was using. Needless to say, I have the added weight gain to show for it. Also, with normal regular use, there ends up being oil all over the canister, the table, and a lot of other surfaces around the general spray area of my food prep area.

Horrible product! Waste of money!

by JP from Register, GA United States on 2010-08-17
I bought this item because of the relatively good reviews, but I wish I hadn't. Right out of the box the thing didn't work. No matter how long I pumped it never got firm and built up enough pressure to spray a mist. It's a piece of junk. I would give it 0 stars but I have to pick at least one.

So simple, yet amazing

by Heath R. Didier from on 2010-08-15
I thought that the concept of the product is pretty incredible and yet so simple. I really like the idea of the pump emitting a thin even spray for salads, and other cooking things. What I am perhaps more excited about is that you can use different oils and such for your culinary needs. Also, you can use this sprayer to coat pans and baking sheets. I really hate how when you buy store bought cooking sprays, and they leave this residue that can be hard to wash off (especially on baking sheets).

Presto vs All American

by JB from Washington, DC United States on 2010-08-28
I couldn't decide between the Presto or the All American, so I bought them both, intending to send one back. At the time I placed my order, Amazon was not selling the All American 921, so I had to order it from an outside vendor. I have only done boiling water bath canning before and had some fears of pressure canners. Reading the negative reviews of the Presto unit, where reviewers describe pressure gauges fly across the kitchen, etc., did not help. The All American canner is built like a tank, I have much more confidence in it than the Presto. I didn't actually use the Presto canner before deciding to send it back, so can't speak to its performance, but had I been able to compare these two units side by side in a store, I definitely would have chosen the All American (and saved the twelve dollars it cost to return the Presto canner to Amazon).

if you can...

by R. Wegner from Strafford, NH USA on 2010-08-27
This is an excellent product for canning. We have previously owned a presto until it wore out and will likely do the same with the next. Large size lets you use many jars 1qt or larger.

Great

It arrived as promised. Worked great. Fit 7 quarts. It canned! What else can you say.

Loving my canner!

by D. Zubrowski from on 2010-08-09
After reading reviews here I decided to purchase the Presto 23 qt pressure canner. I am thrilled with it! I have been canning so many different foods and it had been fun and easy to do. I look forward to being able to feed my family foods that are free from additives and preservatives. The only suggestion I have to make is this - if you purchase this canner go ahead and buy the extra canning rack and pressure regulator at the same time. The instruction booklet says that two layers of pint jars may be placed in the canner, with the second level staggered on top of the first. The jars tend to move around during the canning process and I was afraid they would fall and break and ruin a batch of food. The second rack eliminates this problem. The second concern I had was the constant warnings that the pressure gauge could be inaccurate, which would lead to unsafe jars of food. With the additional pressure regulator set for 10 lbs I was pleased to see that it began rocking at the same time the gauge read 10 lbs. Now I know if the gauge becomes inaccurate I will immediately know. I am processing a batch of vegetable soup right now - 7 quarts. :-)

Presto Canner

I purchased this canner this year 2010 for canning my garden veggies. It works great I had no problem out of it. It arrived in 3 days and I got it the same time as my green beans was coming in. I would recommend this canner to anyone. It also is priced right.

very good value for money

by Rahul Gagrani from India on 2010-08-22
nothing new I am going to say over here... just like to say that I have seen many other sites where this product was priced too high. Amazon has done a very good job to sell it at very low price and they deliever things always on or before time. This cart is very sturdy and has helped me a lot, I don't have a car so I use the cart for every visit to stores to carry heavy weighted bags or small furniture. Thanks amazon, thanks Magna cart.

Compact & Sturdy Hand Truck

by Poppy from Milledgeville, GA on 2010-08-18
An outstanding light to medium duty hand truck. Great for moving boxes of books and other boxy items, and it stores in a space less than two inches wide. Perfect for someone who needs a hand truck occasionally and needs to store it in a limited space.

not really carry 150 pounds

by Lombard Street from on 2010-08-16
It may be able to carry 150 pounds as displayed in the picture, when the weights are evenly distributed vertically. However, if you have one box of books or papers (which are usually very happy), then you will have a hard time lifting it unless if you are really strong and acrobatic, because all the weights are concentrated at the bottom of the hand truck. For other purposes, this is great; but not if you are a lawyer and moving a lot books and papers. For that purpose, you need something with four wheels and that don't rely on lever actions.

Excellent Service!

by Whitwork10 from on 2010-08-09
Exactly what I ordered. These carts are great for everyday use as we use them in our office to move boxes and such. Highly recommend!

Great product!!!!!

by football forever from tallahassee, fl on 2010-08-04
This cart works well for moving items withing it's weight range. And, it folds down enough to stay out of the way while sitting in the garage.
